Sphinx Psychology: A Safe Space for Growth and Wellbeing

North Shore Tutors have a commitment to supporting the mental wellbeing of our students. We’ve worked with psychologists and practitioners to create a holistic approach to education. We work with many neurodivergent students, implementing neuroaffirmative practices into our teaching. One key partnership is with Sphinx Psychology, located in Sydney’s North Shore. At Sphinx Psychology, the focus is on creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel understood, empowered and equipped to navigate life's challenges.

Located in Lane Cove, Sydney, Sphinx Psychology was founded by James Raciti, a registered psychologist passionate about helping children, adolescents and adults better understand themselves and build lasting psychological wellbeing. Sphinx Psychology provides individual therapy for concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation, ADHD, autism and significant life transitions. The practice also offers cognitive and ADHD assessments, helping individuals gain greater insight into their learning, attention and cognitive strengths.
What distinguishes Sphinx Psychology is its personalised, strengths-based approach. Rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all model, James combines evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with compassionate, neuroaffirming care.
At its core, Sphinx Psychology believes that meaningful change begins with feeling genuinely heard and understood. Through collaborative support, clients can develop practical strategies, build resilience and navigate challenges with greater confidence.

Whether you're seeking psychological support or greater insight into how your mind works, Sphinx Psychology offers a welcoming space to begin your journey towards lasting growth.
